With its strategic location of being close to the sea port, New Taipei City is the second major city in Taiwan, in terms of business industries. It thrives in several industries - mainly the technology, service and tourism sector, which helps them generate revenue. On top of that, a wide range of public facilities are available for its citizens, as public libraries and education centres are scattered around the city. With the presence of the Taiwan High Speed Rail, local trains and city bus, it makes the city very connected and easily accessible. Despite its current bustling city life, there are constant efforts made to improve the city by kick starting smart initiatives among the public and private sector. |
