Project Background

Choa Chu Kang is made up of 6 subzones as updated in the Master Plan of 2014. To meet the needs of residents, the city is planned as a self-sufficient entity. For example, parking, community centres, various services, public and private housing, school, etc. are supported by its own internal transportation network. However, this does not satisfy all the residents. Other areas need to be improved. As Choa Chu Kang, it is essential to understand the problems in Choa Chu Kang especially on convenience, health, safety, housing, and services. As of the year 2019, there are no hawker centres located in Choa Chu Kang. The nearest hawker centre is at Bukit Panjang Hawker Centre which is about 3km away. Therefore, we want to improve the lives of the residents in Choa Chu Kang through planning via tech as well as improving the structure of the city.
