PROBLEM & MOTIVATION

Our project aims to provide the public, especially motorists, with more information about the causes of road accidents and how various individuals can do their part to reduce road accidents.

OBJECTIVES

In our project, we would be creating a geovisualisation that is able to achieve the following objectives:

• Gain an overview of traffic accident hotspots
• Explore possible correlations with traffic accidents
• Identify zones which are more prone to accidents
• Recommend additional datasets that should be collected
