Project Motivation

“To tackle growing inequality and stratification, the Government is "going one step further" to build rental and sold flat units within the same block, National Development Minister Lawrence Wong said on Thursday (May 17)” “An area with a high index for dwelling type diversity would have a wider mix of high-end private housing, as well as HDB flats of various room sizes including low-end housing. Such neighbourhoods reported more transgressions than places that are either equally rich or poor.” - Institute of Policy Studies Social inequality has been the hot topic in recent years as government start to find sustainable ways to tackle the increasing inequality and stratification in Singapore.
