Welcome to Team 3migRants' wiki for ISSS608 - Visual Analytics and Applications group project.
This site lets you browse through our thoughts that were translated to motives, created interactive visual models and insights attained throughout the project's life cycle.
Being migrants ourselves, our analysis is focused studying the concept of migration of humans that has been around since the dawn of mankind.
There have been many prior instances of studying this topic through visualizations, which were predominantly one dimensional towards the migrant numbers, so our efforts are pointed at adding another dimension to these numbers by studying the effects of migration on the economy of the country sourcing and the country receiving the migrants.
Alongside the Visual analysis, we have also incorporated voice control to the Shiny application for the user to interact with the analysis hands-free.
