Currently, there is a need to upgrade the living conditions in different parts of Myanmar. However, it is difficult to pinpoint the locations of those areas that are in need of utility or basic infrastructure since the spatial points are all scattered. Thus, the lack of visibility in deciding which area needs more assistance at a glance is the prime motivating factor for us to take up on the project.
Our project aims to gather the population census data in Myanmar and map out the social demographic profile of the people such that areas that lack utilities and infrastructure can be easily identified. Our application will be useful for planning a support system in Myanmar. Through the use of our application, we hope to aid international organizations of interest in building up the infrastructure with the solution blueprint from our application.
Our data-sets come from Myanmar Information Management Unit(MIMU).
