Step-by-step guide on how to use the data visualization functions designed:
1. Installation
The web-based visualization dashboard can be viewed online using any browser. If user would like to build this shiny application offline, Rstudio should be installed with all the packages mentioned above. Open the source code including ui.R, server.R and global.R from Rstudio. To run the code, simply press the “Run App” on the top right corner, then you would expect the dashboard to show up.
2. User Manual
After opening the web-based dashboard, you will see this panel below. There are four tabs on the top, each for different exploration purposes.

3. Demonstration Case: Comparison between Singapore and Malaysia

From the B&R Region Map Tab, the flights between each region/country/airport and China can be shown. When you choose the Country Level on the top right corner, you can view all the flights of the country you select and compare two countries’ performances. If you choose Singapore in the Primary Selection Box and Malaysia in Comparison Box, the map panel will show all the routes and flights between Singapore and China, and the bar chart and table will inform you of Singapore and Malaysia’s Top 5 airline composition and the number of flights and connected airports.
