There are two flu outbreaks in the Smartpolis, starting from May 18th 8AM and May 19th 2AM respectively. For the first outbreak, it starts from downtown area and then spreads into uptown and eastside area. Lastly, it spreads into other areas. The transmission method for this outbreak is mainly airborne transmission and person-to-person method. The number of flulike people decrease abruptly on May 19th and do not increase on May 20th. Hence, it is well contained.
As for the second outbreak, it mainly located the area along the Vastopolis River, including Plainville, Smogtown and Westside area. The symptoms are mainly related to the gastric problem. Due to the geographic distribution, the second outbreak is transmitted through water. Although the numbers of symptoms have decreased on May 20th, government still need to deploy treatment resources for the downstream area followed by Smogtown to prevent the flu diffusion.
