For info, the ranking and partition tabs on the top left side of the Gephi window is no longer available in this latest version, in case you are trying to follow through the QuickStart slides. it is now changed to a single "Appearance" tab. This solution was provided in the link: in the statistics panel, run Average Degree. New columns will appear in the data table for In-Degree, Out-Degree and Degree https://github.com/gephi/gephi/issues/1258

The Import Wizard and Plugins doesn't seem to work, not sure if the other classmates are also facing the same issues? Instead of pressing the Plugins, I had selected Help to check for Updates, is it correct?
